Urgent Vendor Info!

All food vendors, current and throughout the season, must complete the Farmers’ Market application from the Montgomery County Health Department and  submit it with payment and the Water Quality Fact Sheet to the Pottstown office of the Health Department. The attached Health Department Farmers’ market guidelines will explain what you need to know.

The exception to this paperwork and fee are vendors that sell only whole uncut produce (raw agricultural products) or pre-packaged non-potentially hazardous foods (non-perishable food products). If you have any questions about whether you need to complete the Health Department paperwork, please call the Montgomery Health Department’s Pottstown Office and speak with Richard Nave at 610.278.5117, Dial #1, Extension 6827.  Vendors can also check the website for the Montco Health Department http://health.montcopa.org/health/cwp/view,A,3,Q,76252.asp

Any non-exempt vendor joining the market at any point during the season is also responsible for obtaining this license.
